Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and deliver complex infrastructure projects. This is a fully remote position, requiring a candidate with exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills who can manage projects from concept through completion with minimal direct supervision. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction and infrastructure development projects.

- Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
- Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Coordinating and directing the work of engineering teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Managing client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress reports and updates.
- Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Reviewing and approving engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Conducting site visits and inspections as necessary (though the role is remote, occasional travel may be required for critical oversight).
- Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolving complex technical and logistical challenges that arise during project execution.
- Leading contract negotiations and managing contract administration.
- Mentoring junior project engineers and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities, water management).
- Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $50 million.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Expertise in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and BIM technologies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively managing remote teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with contract law and procurement processes.
- Commitment to upholding safety and environmental standards.
