Role Overview
We're looking for a star team player who's passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times to join our production team in Bahrain.
Main Responsibilities
- Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas is clean and in good working order.
- Help create cleaning schedules for the team and be the main point of contact.
- Ensure all stewarding team members arrive for their scheduled shift punctually and in clean uniforms.
- Managing the stewarding team and maintaining cleanliness, be sure to report any deficiencies.
- Ensuring that the right cleaning tools and chemicals are used in the kitchen facility at all times.
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team in all aspects and ensure standards are followed.
- Conduct training and assist with diagrams, log sheets, & documentation.
Ideal candidate
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Proven track record in managing cleaning operations in kitchens or food production environments.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and sanitation regulations.
- Experience in creating and managing cleaning schedules.
- Hands-on experience with stewarding equipment and dishwashing machinery.
- Ability to conduct training sessions, prepare documentation, and maintain records.
- Must be currently based in Bahrain.
Knowledge & Competency
- Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation procedures for kitchens.
- Knowledge of chemical dilution systems such as TDS (Training Data Sheets) & MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
- Ability to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, machinery, and tools.
- Capable of leading a team to consistently meet standards and regulations.
- Able to train and re-train new staff on hygiene and cleaning protocols.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Familiarity with proper use, storage, and safety handling of cleaning chemicals.

Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. Complete cashier and closing reports. Supply guests with directions and property information. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures.
