- To lead and direct the team of export executives so that the yearly targets are achieved for total and product category wise sales as well as ensuring all receivables are collected in time.
- To recommend any changes in the strategy within the 12 months to ensure focus is on the right path to succeed in target achievement irrespective of any down turns in the markets.
- To ensure the order book is delivered in time and orders are produced within the month of receipt with close liaison with Production/ PPC/ Warehouse.
- To ensure timely advice is given to customers about new product introduction, ensuring samples, prices for the same are submitted for their consideration and to ensure orders for the same where possible are attained.
- To ensure all activities in organizing for overseas trade fairs and participation in the same are problem-free and stands are arranged and set-up for maximum interest and benefit of the company, with all trade related data, products available for marketing purposes.
- To review the pricing of products at the beginning of the month and advise of any issues and advise where discounts may be required to obtain the business and submit the same to Chief Accountant. To make price recommendations for special products as and when required.
- Ensure sufficient accurate MIS is collected from the market to ensure general pricing meets market expectations and if not, to formally recommend to Management a broad spectrum of price bands required product category wise.
- Promote the businesses physical presence via a geographical, channel-wise branch set up.
- Ensure to maintain a balance between the traditional & modern trade business needs.
- Maintain healthy relationship with distributors with regular visits to collect MIS, and to understand the market needs & expectations.
- Ensure that clients achieve our projected sales target in order to incentivize them upon accomplishment.
- Provides growth to the business year-on-year.
- Instrumental in new product development process and on reactivating dominant ex-clients.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing a
- Analytical and with proven track record in achieving sales targets from a reputable FMCG/ manufacturing company
- Strong track record in market penetration at all levels and channel wise
- Ability to do market research and competitor analysis and take the necessary action accordingly
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Progressive, ambitious, problem solver, strong in strategy development and implementation via responsive team in place.
- Experience in market development in Africa and the GCC in particular.
