We are hiring a Project Manager - Ubuntu Embedded Systems at Canonical

As a Project Manager for Canonical's Devices business, this role is responsible for the coordination and completion of large complex customer-facing projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery and acting as the primary delivery liaison between Canonical's engineering teams and Canonical's customers.

  • Successfully delivering engineering professional services for assigned projects
  • Working with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images to the customers

What we are looking for in you

  • Solid project management experience in delivering engineering services to customers managing software development teams and field engineers
  • Extensive experience successfully managing projects with cross-cultural and multi-continent internal and external project resources, preferably with resources in Asia, Europe, and the Americas
  • Educational degree preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
  • Good knowledge of Linux and the wider Open Source Software community, and understanding of computer architecture

VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Quality Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Qualification

BA Computer Science

Years of Experience 1 - 3 years

Tools Required : Excellent in Excel, SQL, SAS, Data Analysis, ETL tools, Data profiling

Experience Required:

  • A comprehensive grasp of Data Management fundamentals, data governance processes, Master Data Management, Reference Data Management, Data Profiling and Data Quality (DQ) rules.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating Data Quality issues and risks.
  • Experience in developing and rolling out data quality processes.
  • Understand Data Quality (DQ) Management Framework policies and standards.
  • Excellent quantitative data analysis, including the ability to draw insights from existing quantitative data quality reports & dashboards, as well as explore & summarize 'raw' data sets to discover insights using SQL and Tools.
  • Robust project management skills to define & drive technology process improvement projects leveraging virtual teams to deliver permanent data quality improvements to data capture systems.
  • Compelling presentation skills (both PowerPoint and in-person) to synthesize complex information and explain it in simple, compelling ways to senior stakeholders to secure buy-in.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales And Marketing Specialist located in Manama. The Sales And Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, and conducting sales training. The specialist will also manage sales operations and report on sales performance. Daily tasks include identifying sales opportunities, evaluating market trends, and working closely with the marketing team to enhance brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management
  • Ability to conduct effective Sales Training
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
