Main Tasks & Duties- Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories
- Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of civil engineering equipment and materials
- Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards
- Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities and experiments
- Manages equipment and materials inventories specific to civil engineering labs
- Maintains laboratory supplies – laboratory equipment, including testing equipment, concrete materials, and soil
- Determines equipment and material requirements, prepares purchase specifications, and coordinates acquisitions
- Applies principles of materials science, environmental engineering, and structural analysis relevant to civil engineering
- Covers subject matter related to civil engineering courses taught at this college
- Operational characteristics of apparatus, equipment and materials used in civil engineering laboratories
- Manages all stock rooms relevant to civil engineering materials and tools
- Prepares materials and supplies for civil engineering laboratory courses
- Participates in the design, development and testing of new experiments
- Trains and supervises other technicians in laboratory practices and safety procedures
- Participates in carrying out some field/lab experiments of projects
- Ensures proper handling, storage and disposal of wastes and hazardous materials in accordance with safety and hygiene
- Maintains laboratory records and inventories
- Prepares and general maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments
- Other relevant tasks as requested by the college
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Preferably with 2 years’ relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of higher education accreditation and quality assurance requirements
- Good general knowledge in chemistry and engineering

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roads Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of road works.
Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other activities including correspondence related to the road works.
Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues.
Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.
Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
Prepare / Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports.
Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the Resident Engineer to issue site instructions with respect to road works and associated items.
Check and measure the performed work in his line of work, record and assist the Resident Engineer to display progress vs. programmed work.
Ensure correctness and completeness of 'as-built' drawings within his line of work.
Coordinate with Materials Engineer in material submissions, analyse laboratory and technical reports.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
12+ years of related work experience in road projects preferably in Bahrain and GCC countries.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

As an Entry-Level Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting with the collection and analysis of data related to land surveys. About the Role
The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing civil engineering works related to the Sewer Scheme Supervision Project. This role requires an experienced engineer with extensive knowledge of sewer network construction and infrastructure projects in the GCC region
- Oversee the construction of sewer networks, including pipeline laying, manhole construction, and micro-tunneling.
- Review and approve construction materials, methods, and method statements.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications, standards, and OH&S requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of the works and materials.
- Review and approve shop drawings and other submittals, ensuring compliance with the design.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the works, providing updates to the Project Manager and Ministry representatives.

What do we need from you
