An Interior Design Detailing Draftsman plays a vital role in the interior design process by creating highly detailed technical drawings and plans that communicate design specifications to construction and fabrication teams. The Interior Design Detailing Draftsman works closely with interior designers and architects to ensure that design concepts are executed accurately and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
Responsibilities- TECHNICAL DRAWING AND DETAILING: Create detailed interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. Develop drawings that accurately represent the design intent, ensuring proper dimensions, scale, and proportion.
- MATERIALS AND FINISHES: Specify and detail materials, finishes, and construction techniques, including wall treatments, flooring, ceiling designs, and millwork. Ensure that all material specifications meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
