- Oversee the selection and management of EPC contractors and other third-party vendors.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Manage project financials, including budget control, cost forecasting, and invoice approvals.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, community representatives, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on solar PV projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from development through to commissioning.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, project finance, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Certification such as PMP is an advantage.
