Trainer VII, Food Safety and QSHE

An exciting opportunity is available for a Trainer VII, Food Safety and QSHE, based in Bahrain, reporting directly to the Section Head – Training Services.

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Trainer VII, Food Safety and QSHE responsible for conducting public and in-house training to meet the training needs on Food Safety, QHSE, and related topics, aligned with local and international standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex training activities in Food Safety & QHSE management systems.
  • Develop course and workshop materials in line with international standards and client requirements.
  • Evaluate trainees through assessments to ensure effective learning and certification.
  • Share expert knowledge on legal, regulatory, and industry-specific topics.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for compliance.
  • Plan and deliver training activities effectively and timely, providing technical support to sales.
  • Conduct public and in-house training/workshops based on client needs, following established standards.
  • Keep current with professional knowledge, training credentials, and certifications.
  • Support and mentor junior trainers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and legal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Veterinary, Engineering, HSE, Science, or related fields.
  • Certifications in IRCA, HABC, Train The Trainer, Level 4 Food Safety, or HACCP.
  • ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 22000 certifications.
  • Pre-qualification as a Trainer from Municipality.
  • 3 years’ experience with a degree or 8 years’ with a diploma in a similar training environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Training needs analysis and instructional development.
  • Training delivery and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing.
  • Business process management and improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
