TWe are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions. You will become the primary resolver for your support team, and gain troubleshooting skills on different hardware and software cases.

You will be able to troubleshoot and solve most infrastructure issues and engage other appropriate solutions groups on more complex problems to drive solutions.

Main Tasks:

  1. Operate and maintain the On-Premises and co-located data center and related facilities.
  2. Keep track of all Company Data Center facilities, assets, equipment, installations, access control systems, fire suppression systems, etc.
  3. Implement and execute the necessary Data Center facility development, maintenance, support, and operation.
  4. Continuously monitor Data Center facilities, power and cooling (HVAC), security access control, compute, storage, network and telecommunications equipment and services, system logs and alerts.

  9. Work closely with approved service providers, maintain accurate Data Center configuration and operation documentation, update timely and accurately relevant documentation and diagrams.
  10. 24 hours On-Call to provide urgent support especially on continuous operation that affects the company’s production.
  11. Follow the internal General Data Center Guidelines.

Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in the same field.
  • Mandatory requirement: Car plus driver license.

Our client, a dynamic player in the telecommunications sector based in Shakhura, Northern, BH , is looking for a diligent and technically adept Telecoms Systems Administrator. This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring a balance of in-office presence for hands-on tasks and remote flexibility for analysis and configuration. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of various telecom systems, ensuring seamless communication services for our operations and customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in network and server administration, with specific experience in telephony and communication platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems, including VoIP platforms, PBX systems, and associated hardware/software.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to telecom services.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect telecom infrastructure from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to phone systems, voicemail, and other communication tools.
  • Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with vendors for system updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
  • Stay informed about new telecommunications technologies and best practices.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with VoIP technologies, SIP protocol, and PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco CallManager).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based communication platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
