Job Description

Study users' hardware and software requirements and provide technical support.

1. Support the user by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
2. Study the user technical requirements for hardware and software.
3. Prepare computers with the latest OS, drivers, and necessary hardware settings.
4. Test and evaluate new functionality for hardware and software and recommend the most appropriate solutions for the organization's work environment.
5. Work in a modern way and according to the latest technology, providing suggestions to develop and improve work processes.
6. Provide training when necessary.
7. Provide temporary, backup, and alternative devices for users.
8. Copy user data by following approved processes.
9. Follow up with specialists and companies for maintenance, providing or replacing devices as needed.
10. Perform other duties and related tasks as may be required from time to time.

National Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or above degree.

Certification in A+ and MOUS is required, and Network+ and MCDST are preferable.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in computer technical support.

2. Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and preferably Arabic.

The role will involve on-site technical support for faculty, staff, and student facilities, ensuring all devices and IT infrastructure are fully operational and secure. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, printers, projectors, smart screens, and other user devices across the institution.
• Install, update, and configure software, drivers, and operating systems on all devices, including student labs, ensuring compatibility with institutional applications.
• Assist with setup and troubleshooting for network connectivity on devices used by staff and students, ensuring seamless access across campus.
• Perform regular maintenance on PCs, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment, prioritizing equipment in classrooms and labs.
• Install antivirus software, perform system updates, and educate users on secure practices for device protection.
• Set up and maintain technical equipment for lectures, presentations, and events to ensure smooth operation.
• Track and manage IT assets, including maintenance logs, repairs, and replacements for university equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of support activities, solutions, and recommendations for infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar role, with a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, or ITIL are highly advantageous and will contribute positively to the selection process.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with IT infrastructure, including PCs, printers, projectors, and smart screens.
• Strong understanding of network setup and device connectivity troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

• This is a fully on-site role; remote work is not permitted.

• Analyze complex problems to evaluate various factors, representing MARCENT in TS/SCI environments.
• Perform recurring services for USMC C4ISR systems globally.
• Provide technical and mentoring support for USMC C4ISR systems.
• Support equipment users and maintainers, offering expertise on operation, technical processes, and maintenance.
• Recommend C4ISR architecture modifications to meet mission requirements.
• Assist with implementing technical processes, optimizing equipment and network resources, and diagnosing maintenance issues.
• Help prepare procedures and training materials, and monitor user performance.

Support network configuration, security, troubleshooting, system backups, IA administration, SharePoint, PKI, Active Directory, VoIP, VTC, web admin, performance optimization, user setup, system upgrades, and documentation.

• Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
• Meet COMSEC and Local Element certification requirements (OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD 8523.01, Air Force Manual 17-1301).
• Complete a favorable ST5 investigation for SCI eligibility, adjudicated by DoD CAF, with security maintained throughout the contract.

We are currently seeking an Automation Technician, who has the same desire to prove thatindustry can do it!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner in compliance with Company policies and procedures and industry best practices
• Perform the administration, configuration, maintenance, programming, and qualification of assigned equipment / machinery, equipment control systems, process control systems, and historical data systems as per established SOP’s
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on PTMs and any related equipment as per contractual/customer requirements and specifications
• Carry out corrective maintenance, assist peers in fault diagnoses and repair equipment in a break down situation to ensure machines/ equipment are in good working condition
• To provide on-site support to customers as and when required to ensure all equipment and tooling conform to the relevant standards and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the technical integrity and performance of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems at all times
• Understand automation safety requirements and ensure all maintenance works and systems are operating in line with Company and customer safety standards
• Use knowledge of automation processes to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and process errors and recommend solutions by applying a wide variety of existing techniques, processes, and procedures
• Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance and reduction of planned and unplanned maintenance
• Gather, record, analyze, and summarize data in various formats and prepare reports of works/tasks performed as per Company and/or customer reporting requirements
• Responsible for ensuring that maintenance/words records are kept fully up to date with all additions/modifications recorded and support report preparation requirements as per Company and customer requirements
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including HSEQ requirements using Company policies and procedures as appropriate

Instrument Technician - Muharraq, Bahrain


We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining various types of instruments and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate and repair a variety of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level transmitters and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments and control systems
