Job Description

1. Project Leadership:

o Manage the end-to-end execution of HVAC projects, ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality parameters.

o Define project objectives, deliverables, and scope in alignment with client and company goals.

2. Coordination & Client Interface:

o Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

o Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Bahrain Civil Defense, EWA, MOH) to obtain required project approvals and resolve site-related issues promptly.

3. Planning & Scheduling:

o Develop detailed project schedules and work programs, ensuring milestone achievement and proactive resolution of delays.

o Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless workflow.

4. Budget & Cost Control:

o Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring strict cost control and profitability.

o Review project variations and secure necessary approvals for any deviations.

5. Team Management:

o Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and CAD personnel for efficient project execution.

o Assign tasks, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

6. Technical Oversight:

o Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

o Ensure all designs and installations meet client specifications, standards, and local regulations.

7. Site Supervision & Quality Control:

o Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship, quality, and safety compliance.

o Address and resolve technical or operational challenges during project execution.

8. Procurement & Vendor Management:

o Coordinate with the procurement department for the selection and supply of HVAC materials and equipment.

o Evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

9. Financial Management:

o Oversee progress billing, certification, and payment follow-ups to maintain strong project cash flow.

o Support preparation of Project Profitability Reports (PPR) in coordination with the accounts and commercial departments.

10. Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, approvals, drawings, and handover records.

o Prepare regular project progress and financial reports for management review.

11. Risk & Compliance:

o Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

o Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and Bahrain's regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Qualifications & Experience

o Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

o Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience in HVAC project management, preferably within Bahrain or GCC contracting firms.

· Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

o Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.

o Familiarity with local authority procedures (e.g., Bahrain Civil Defense, EWA).
