The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel or hospitality stores and inventory system. This role ensures that all materials, supplies, and equipment are properly received, stored, issued, and recorded in compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of all materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment of items.
2. Store Operations
- Ensure that all store operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
- Organize storage areas for easy identification and access to items.
- Label, tag, and maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness in the store.
- Check and verify deliveries against purchase orders for quantity and quality.
- Ensure proper documentation for receiving, issuing, and transferring items.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and purchasing departments.
- Support department heads with material availability and consumption reports.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or expiries to the management immediately.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain updated records for daily receipts, issues, and returns.
- Prepare monthly inventory reports and submit them to the Accounts/Finance department.
- Ensure all invoices and delivery notes are properly filed and documented.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Follow and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method.
- Ensure the store area complies with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Train storekeepers and helpers on proper handling and storage procedures.

What You'll Be Doing
Working as a Store Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the team's performance and schedule, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, providing an exceptional guest experience, maintaining the shop and brand merchandising, and managing stock in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
